A misunderstanding about light.
Light comes from a lightsource, you cannot look into a light source as it will cause damage to the atoms inside your eyes on a level deeper than where light that comes from a surface is reaching to.
We can define an atom with 2 layers like this already, using a simple “looking into the sun” personally at any time verifiable self-experiment.
Everyone can proof this at any time, this is expected to get an 100% approval from everyone.
You look at the light from a surface and it is painfree.
You look at light from a light source and it is painful.
